From three of the UK group...

During the time we spent with the Palestinian women, we really felt we were able to connect with the women and have made life long friends. Not only was the experience really fun and enjoyable for everyone, but we also got the chance to learn more about the Palestinian culture and the way of life over there. We also had the pleasure of tasting new foods that the Palestinian women cooked for us and join in with traditional dances that we performed. However, the main reason for the visit was to raise awareness of the situation that is currently happening in Palestine and by talking to the women and learning of unfortunate stories that have happened, we feel we understand more about what is happening and can now do more to help in any way possible. All in all the Palestinian visit was a great experience and we look forward to being part of similar visits in the future, maybe even visit Palestine ourselves.
