Action plans!

One of the things we said we would do is make action plans to strengthen the links between different organisations in Britain and Palestine. 

These are some of the things that came from a workshop on 8th March. But this isn't finished, we know THERE IS MORE... IThe different twinning groups and organisations had their own discussions and made their own plans. Can you contribute your points please and we will add them on here?  We will then all keep an eye on these things and come back and remind you!

DO WHAT?      WHO WILL DO THIS?

Find a twinning partner for Biddu - request from Beesan.   Nandita will put out a notice about this by the end of April.

Work with Bireh/ Northampton on official twinning - Najwa will investigate this and stay in touch with friends in Northampton.

Find a school in Palestine (did you mean in Beit Sourik?) to be a partner for a school in Lewisham that they visited - Leen and Hamdeh will do this.

Work on the Brent-Sawahreh blog - Wafaa and friends in Brent.

Help to make links between a school in Beit Sourik and one in Hackney (is this the girls' schools?) - Beesan.

Work to strengthen links between Abu Dis Sports Club and youth clubs in Camden - Walaa and Shahd and Will.

Find some sort of twinning project to include women graduates in Beit Fourik who have no work - Hamdeh wants to stay in touch with CADFA and investigate this possibility.

Link the Yasmin organisation in Al Bireh with an appropriate organisation in Al Bireh - Bian and Julia will do this.

Find a twinning partner for Jerusalem - Noora and Nandita will stay in touch in relation to this.

University/ school twinning for Nablus - Noor added this on! Important and now you need to identify the next steps. Manchester? Keep in touch!
